FIA Conference Week

Delegates from motoring clubs around the world gathered in Italy during May to hear about the latest news from iRAP, which is now active in more than 60 countries.

Attendees heard how high income countries such as the United Kingdom and Netherlands are using RAP in their national road safety strategies and how clubs in low and middle income countries are enabling world class technology to create safety action plans through iRAP and working with development banks and governments.

The forum also described how FIA member clubs such as ADAC, RACC, FIB, AMSS and AAA are supporting sister clubs develop their programmes in regional initiatives.

The forum was held as part of the annual FIA Conference Week. The FIA's members represent more than 100 million motorists and their families worldwide.
