A Family of RAP Nations in Every Region

Ahead of the Decade of Action for Road Safety, iRAP has issued a consultation paper proposing a new membership structure for organisations participating in the programme.
Developing Our Membership outlines proposals aimed at building an association that supports its members in a spirit of cooperation and mutual benefit worldwide.
iRAP Chairman, John Dawson said: ‘The secret of our success is in the depth of the partnerships we have forged within countries and between countries. Quick transfer of know-how and continuous improvement must remain at the heart of what we do as an Association as we mobilise to support the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety.'
With the iRAP system being applied in every region - Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America and the Caribbean - one of the proposals is that regional groupings be encouraged to evolve, including an iRAP Council for Africa.
We will welcome your feedback and ideas on the proposals. Developing Our Membership can be downloaded at /media/10539/developing_our_membership.pdf.
