Steve Lawson has been appointed as iRAP’s new Regional Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa region.
Steve has been involved with the Road Assessment Programme since its earliest days. He has worked on road safety in a university, for road authorities and the UK’s Automobile Association. Steve has also contributed to work on development of the RAP protocols and has led assessments in many European, Middle East and African countries.
Steve succeeds Stephen Stacey who joined iRAP in 2014. iRAP Chief Executive Rob McInerney paid tribute to Stephen's contribution to the organisation and his work across Europe in addition to the great work building the foundation for AfricaRAP with key development, government and NGO partners across Africa.
