The latest thinking in road infrastructure practice, policy and finance was showcased at the iRAP Innovation Workshop 2016 in September.
Held at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, the two day event was attended by almost 60 influential figures in the road infrastructure business and featured speakers from around the world.
Presentations were focused on five key areas: leadership innovation, policy innovation, technical innovation, implementation innovation and funding innovation. (iRAP CEO Rob McInerney is pictured centre with workshop delegates)

iRAP CEO Rob McInerney said: ‘It was a great couple of days. Bringing key thinkers and innovators together in this way creates the momentum and shared ideas to propel the next level of action worldwide.’
The workshop closed with the launch of the FIA Foundation’s Investing to Save Lives report which included case studies on infrastructure impact investment with iRAP and helmet wearing impact investment in Cambodia.
