Announce bold targets and initiatives

The Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 encourages all countries to set a target of 'Eliminating High Risk Roads by 2020'.

With iRAP, countries can:

• Identify 10% of the road network that carries the highest traffic volumes.
• Benchmark road safety performance of the network using Risk Maps and/or Star Ratings.
• Create Safer Roads Investment Plans and eliminate high risk roads.
• Track performance and demonstrate success regularly throughout the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety.
